A fast-paced publishing house is recruiting for an experienced designer to cover short term maternity leave. Joining an established team you will help design both advertising and editorial covering consuming titles, B2B magazines and in-house marketing campaigns.
This will role also see you manage the planning, design, advertising, print and workflow of the
department to make sure all magazines and internal deadlines are met; along with the maintenance and upkeep of all design and technical aspects of websites. Additional internal and external creative jobs will also need to be completed and coordinated to fit in with publication deadlines. This role is extremely hands on and includes designing and producing a high volume of work. The successful candidate will ideally have a relevant qualification in graphic design with proven experience working for a publishing house. You will have sound knowledge of In-Design and Photoshop, Illustrator is an advantage but not essential. You will be passionate about magazine design and show great attention to detail.
