This leading software developer is looking for a Marketing Manager on a maternity cover contract for a 12-month period. The role has four direct reports so some management experience would be preferred. The ideal candidate will come from a software environment at an SME and be available to start a new position from the start of September. Candidates with a strong technology background and the correct skill set will also be considered as will candidates on a month’s notice, where applicants matching the latter requirements will have the distinct advantage.
Reporting directly to the Sales & Marketing Director, you will be responsible for the ongoing development of the marketing strategy, direct marketing, email marketing, partner/reseller campaigns and development, and agency management over design, PR and digital. The marketing team will be expected to reach targets for sales lead generation and this role will also oversee telemarketing staff.
This position is a great opportunity for an experienced marketer or an up and coming candidate with the right attitude and some team management experience. The position is commutable from Hitchin, Bedford, Stevenage, Cambridge, Hertford, Welwyn Garden City, St Albans, Watford, Luton, Letchworth and Hatfield.
