As an experienced Category Manager within the food and grocery industry, you will have strong customer management skills. At this level, you will need to demonstrate your ability to be strategic while developing and delivering training programmes.
This role will see you working closely with the Market Research team; transferring intelligence to assist companies in growing their own market and sales knowledge. By building and maintaining a strong network of external contacts, you will stay at the top of any industry developments. You will be confident when discussing long-term business development category strategies and range reviews. Having experience of buying and/or account management is a major advantage.
This position requires a self-starter with proven success in category management. You will have excellent project management skills and have the flexibility to travel internationally for approximately five days per month.
