to £40,000With a background in publishing, online information, or technology, you have extensive experience of working in a strategic marketing role and have good team management experience. You will have either a Marketing degree or be CIM qualified, and your ability to engage with technological issues will allow you to translate them into easily marketable propositions. This varied role will see you being accountable for the international marketing functions for this global company.
The role finds you responsible for a team of Marketing Managers who are responsible for the marketing of a family of products and requires a strategic view to ensure full advantage is made of all products at each stage of their life cycle. You will need to communicate internally the features and benefits of products, monitor competitor’s products, as well as maintain a high profile within the industry. An element of market research will be required, as will full responsibility of overseeing and managing the day-to-day strategic marketing interface between the different teams. Specific attention will be given to identifying market gaps as well as the delivery of sales revenue forecasting; generating market offerings at optimum cost. Accountability for the P&L performance of the range of products will form part of your remit.
