This policy covers all data that is shared by a visitor with us whether directly via our website or via email.  We may change this policy from time to time. We use your data to provide work-finding services to our clients and to work-seekers as applicable.

Once we are in receipt of your data, we will retain it for a period of time defined below, to meet certain regulatory and other requirements and to allow you to fully benefit from our services.

You may give your personal details to us for these purposes directly, such as on an application or registration form or via our website, or we may collect them from another source such as a jobs board.

Except in relation to any reply a work-seeker makes to a posting via our focus campaign service, where such work-seeker’s CV will be forwarded directly to the relevant employer without further recourse to such work-seeker, we will not forward your data to any third party, including a potential employer, without your consent.

We will also use your details to send you offers and promotions available through us and/or select third parties, but only with your consent. A record will be kept of your consent and contact preferences.  We will not send you information in any other format without your consent, and will always seek your consent before providing any other unsolicited information.  Please note that, in the absence of a choice made by you, we will send the above-referenced information to you via e-mail.

We will not provide your personal data to third parties other than as set out below.

 

Reasons we collect and use your personal data

 We have a legitimate interest in collecting and using your personal data, in that we use your personal data in order to fulfil our contract with you.  If you are a client, this will normally consist of finding appropriate work-seekers for work roles you are advertising.  If you are a work-seeker, this will normally consist of introducing you to relevant employers.  Without using such data in this way, it would not be possible for us to perform our obligations under the contract between us and you.

 

Data of yours that we collect

In operating our business we may collect and process the following data about you:

  • Details of your visits to our Website and the resources that you access including, but not limited to, traffic data, location data, weblog statistics and other communication data; and
  • Personal data including name, phone number(s), email address, postal address, CV and work history and any other relevant information provided to us when you approach us about work-finding services.

We will process this information in accordance with this policy.

 

Keeping your data secure

We have appropriate security measures to prevent personal data from being accidentally lost, or used or accessed unlawfully. We limit access to your personal data to those who have a genuine business need to access it. Those processing your information will do so only in an authorised manner and are subject to a duty of confidentiality.

Data Retention

We will retain your personal data only for as long as is necessary.  Different laws require us to keep different data for different periods of time.  For example, the Conduct of Employment Agencies and Employment Businesses Regulations 2003, require us to keep work-seeker records for at least one year (a) from the date of their creation or (b) after the date on which we last provide you with work-finding services.  We must also keep your payroll records, holiday pay, sick pay and pensions auto-enrolment records for as long as is legally required by HMRC and associated national minimum wage, social security and tax legislation.

Unless required to retain data for a longer period as outlined above, we will not retain your personal data for longer than three years.
