Are you a marketer living in or around the East Midlands area? If so you may be interested in these events that are occurring in a few weeks time hosted by the Chartered Institute of Marketing.

An event that’s taking place in Northampton will be focusing on tips for Copywriters. In this refreshing morning session you will learn at least 10 copywriting tips ranging from how to beat writer’s block to simple ways to make website text easier to read. During this event Richard Groom, who has worked with companies including Virgin, Thomas Cook and Corus, will share techniques that he has built up over the last decade working as a professional copywriter. You will also receive a free e-booklet clearly explaining all of the workshop content. The aim of this conference will be to help you make sure that the communications materials you are creating are as effective as they can be. This copywriting workshop will be taking place at 9.00am on Tuesday 24th September at the Holiday Inn Express in Northampton.

There is also an event taking place in Leicester that will be focusing on online marketing. It will be a fun and interactive evening session, for beginners to experienced marketers, where you will look at new cutting edge ways to achieve organic, paid, pay per click and AdWords website success. Ian Lockwood, an accomplished digital marketing trainer, will take you on a journey to get you fully up to speed with developments to Google and other search engines. This online session will be taking place at 6.00pm on Thursday 26th September at Phoenix Square in Leicester.
