Brand Manager - 12 month contract – fixed term, Bracknell -

Brand Recruitment have partnered with an innovative and pioneering consumer business to source their new Assistant Brand Manager!

Our award-winning and market leading client is currently searching for a passionate and driven Brand Manager to join their established and successful team on an interim basis, just outside of Bracknell. With at least 2-3 years’ experience working in a brand management or a broad marketing role for a consumer-focused business, you’ll be a self-starter with proven experience developing marketing and brand plans. Hands-on experience with digital marketing campaigns and PR is essential, as this role will see you driving brand awareness and recognition through a variety of channels. Experience working for a consumer focused or retail brand is essential, as you will be creating campaigns aimed at both consumers and retail partners where this brand’s products are sold. As there will be occasional travel required as part of this role, applicants must be able to drive and have access to their own car. Ideally, you will be available for an immediate start, but candidates on 1 months’ notice period will still be considered.

As Brand Manager, you will be working with the Head of Marketing to develop and implement strategic annual brand plans for the business, focusing on marketing campaigns covering the full marketing mix and marketing activations. Using consumer insights, competitor research and analysis and your knowledge of the latest industry trends, you will develop innovative marketing campaigns designed to drive brand awareness and increase sales. Using your skills and expertise in digital marketing, you will help to develop timely, informative SEO optimised content for the website, write copy for email marketing campaigns and create engaging and shareable content for use across a variety of social media platforms, to ensure that marketing campaigns reach consumers across a number of channels. You will also work with the external PR agency to develop a cohesive PR strategy, secure positive coverage across a number of key trade and consumer publications and raise awareness of key launches, campaigns and product ranges.

Due to the location of their offices, this position is commutable from Bracknell, Reading, Wokingham, Ascot, Maidenhead, Slough, Windsor, Woking, Egham, Weybridge, Farnborough, Aldershot, Basingstoke, Henley on Thames and Guildford.
