An award-winning, global organisation is currently searching for an experienced Internal Communications & CSR Manager to join their busy team in Berkshire. A newly-created position, the successful candidate will need to have the drive and initiative to take ownership of this role and grow the internal communications strategy for a large and complex organisation. This varied position will see you organising charitable events for the business through to managing senior stakeholders and board members, so you will need exceptional communication, negotiation and influencing skills and will be a confident presenter and public speaker.
As Internal Communications & CSR Manager, your role will be split into two distinct areas. Firstly, you will take ownership of delivering and driving the Corporate Social Responsibility strategy for the business across the UK. As part of this role, you will develop the environmental CSR strategy and drive philanthropic outreach activity across the business, maintaining the brand’s image as a company that cares. You will work across a variety of events, large and small, ensuring no two days are the same in this role! Secondly, you will oversee the internal communications strategy, working closely with the Corporate, PR and HR teams to craft an engaging, informative and coherent message and to ensure all communications reach staff through a variety of different channels. You will be an ambassador for the company strategy, ensuring all communications are on brand and create maximum levels of employee engagement with the brand. You will be comfortable dealing with colleagues at all levels, from retail staff to senior stakeholders; from time to time this role will see you presenting to board members and fielding their questions on the Internal Communications & CSR strategy, so you will need to have the confidence to lead presentations, explain and drive the company’s strategy.

Due to the office location, this role is commutable to those living in Reading, Windsor, Slough, Woking, Bracknell, Guildford, Wokingham, Weybridge, High Wycombe, Basingstoke, Fleet, Henley-on-Thames, Marlow and Farnborough.
