Brand Recruitment have partnered exclusively with a hugely successful and established consumer brand in Buckinghamshire to source their new Head of Marketing!

Are you an experienced, proactive and analytical marketer with over 10 years’ brand management experience? Have you gained experience managing instantly recognisable, global FMCG brands across international markets? Do you have the passion and drive to succeed in one of the most competitive consumer industries? Then we want to hear from you!

Our award-winning client is looking for a commercially-minded marketer with an entrepreneurial spirit to join their busy and lively team. Looking after a portfolio of instantly recognisable, household name brands, you will be responsible for devising and driving the strategies for each brand across the EMEA region. Applicants must have at least 10 years’ experience working within a successful consumer organisation, with proven experience marketing tangible products to consumers across multiple touchpoints and platforms. You must have prior experience strategically launching new tangible, consumer products into various retailers across existing and emerging markets, and will have previously created successful, international marketing plans. Confident, driven and strategic, you will bring all of these traits to this role, inspiring your team to create robust marketing strategies to help drive the business and to exceed customers’ expectations.

As Head of Marketing, you will be managing several direct reports, using your exceptional leadership skills to develop and motivate your team to deliver innovative and successful marketing campaigns to drive the entire brand portfolio. An analytical and forward-thinking marketer, you will be adept at taking consumer insights, competitor activity and market trends and translating these into actionable campaign strategies for a consumer brand. You will also use insight and sales data to identify gaps in existing product ranges and within the broader market for NPD to meet consumer needs and demand. Experience managing sizeable budgets is essential, as you will be overseeing the marketing spend across a number of well-known consumer brands. We’re also looking for someone with an exceptional track record developing and maintaining relationships with internal and external stakeholders, as the successful candidate will be managing the business’s relationships with retail partners, as well as liaising with international departments within the business. Using your exceptional influencing skills, you will present the annual marketing plan to senior stakeholders within the business and will be confident substantiating your strategy with insights, sales data and industry trends.

As Head of Marketing, your role will be on a global scale; you will be expected to identify key markets for each brand and develop marketing strategies for the relevant product lines in each territory.
