Senior Category Executive, Whittlesey -
Our award-winning client is looking for a driven, analytical and progressive Senior Category Executive to join their expanding team based in Cambridgeshire. Ideally, you’ll have at least 2 years’ category management experience in a consumer organisation already under your belt and be confident handling vast sums of data. If you have a strong working knowledge of a variety of insight packages and an ability to take data, insights and trends and translate these into actionable category and brand strategies, this is the perfect role for you!
As Senior Category Executive, you will be analysing key market, product, category and sales data to identify any strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats for the business, and compiling these into monthly reports for colleagues to help strengthen the business proposition and sales. Your work will directly shape and impact category and brand strategies and help to develop exciting and innovative new products that fill a need within the market, to ensure this brand stays ahead of its competition. You’ll need a naturally inquisitive mind, keen to discover what drives the consumer and makes them purchase a particular brand or product, to influence them to buy into our client’s brand. You will be expected to present your findings to key stakeholders on a regular basis, both in person in company meetings and through detailed, written reports.

Due to the location of this role it is commutable from Whittlesey, Peterborough, March, Chatteris, Huntingdon, St Neots, St Ives, Ely, Stamford, Cambridge, Spalding, Northampton, Corby, Leicester, Wisbech, Market Harborough and Kings Lynn.
