This high profile, well established FMCG company are experts in providing their consumer base with that little guilt free feeling of satisfaction at any time of their choosing, day or night and have brand names that we almost guarantee you have in your house at this very moment. They’re currently on the lookout for a category manager to join their fast-paced consumer business and take control of the statistical elements involved in the marketing of one of their core verticals. This is a demanding role and requires the successful candidate to have strong experience in either a category or insights role, with an extensive knowledge in FMCG as a ‘must-have’ trait.
As a key member of the broader category team, you will work closely with your peers to drive the development of the department. As with any category roles, your primary drive is to positively influence the P&L of your respective lines and maximise product performance in the marketplace, which you will achieve through managing the marketplace lifecycle of the product range from beginning to end. You will achieve this through your strong problem solving, analytical capabilities, ultimately giving you that feeling of success and achievement that is vital is a core drive for you. You will ideally have experience in either Dunnhumby, Kantar, EPOS or Nielsen that will provide the key to your success and strong interpersonal skills that will allow you to build natural rapport and build on existing relationships with key stakeholders.
