Do you have a strong background in data analytics and a capability to build strong relationships with core retail partners? Our client is currently on the lookout for a Category Manager to join their fast-paced consumer business and take control of the statistical elements involved in the marketing of some of their core product lines. This is a demanding yet rewarding role and requires the successful candidate to have strong experience in either a category or insights role, with an FMCG background being advantageous.
As a key member of the category team, you will work closely with your peers to drive the development of the verticals in your remit. Your primary drive is to positively influence the P&L of your respective lines and maximise product performance in the marketplace, which you will achieve through managing the marketplace lifecycle of the product range from beginning to end. You will achieve this through your strong problem solving, analytical capabilities, ultimately giving you that feeling of success and achievement which is vital. You will ideally have experience in either Dunnhumby, Kantar, EPOS or Nielsen that will provide the key to your success and strong interpersonal skills that will allow you to build natural rapport and build on existing relationships with key stakeholders.
