Content and Copy Specialist, Cambridge -
This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-respected and fast moving B2B tech organisation to the north of Cambridge. This organisation are a market leader and have a hugely impressive customer list spanning a number of fast growing industry sectors.
Following a period of growth, and increased workload, the marketing and comms team of approximately twenty people are due to be joined by a content and copy driven specialist over the next month or so, and this could be you!
It's a great role working with a fun, energetic and hardworking team; to work within internal team members and technical professionals across the business to develop copy and content to engage with their customer base. The role will span both creative and technical copy, and will require a candidate with experience of developing content surrounding B2B or ‘techy’ products. The role will be highly creative, and not only will you be tasked with coming up with creative copy, you’ll be overhauling and revamping older content to ensure its success for the future. Blogging will be part of the role, as will online content for the web… the role will be varied and will pull on all your ‘copywriter wisdom’ of a minimum of five years.
The ‘brand story’ and company tone of voice are both really important for this company, and as such, copywriters who have worked in a larger organisation, with a defined ‘way’ that they communicate both internally and externally will be most suited.
Most of all, the company in question are looking for someone with the ability to write engaging content for typically quite functional products both online and offline, with conviction and passion! Some experience in B2B marketing or content is essential, as is the willingness to deal with multiple projects at any given time, and within timescales.
This is a great permanent position, for one of Cambridge’s biggest success stories. Due to their location this role is commutable from Peterborough, Huntingdon, Bedford, Cambridge, St Ives, Newmarket, Royston, Stevenage, Bury St Edmunds, Ely, Hitchin and Letchworth.
