Deputy Head of Community Fundraising and Events, Peterborough -

An outstanding not-for-profit organisation based in Peterborough is looking for a creative-minded Deputy Head of Community Fundraising and Events to join their energetic Community Fundraising and Events team on an 18-month contract. You will need to be well acquainted with the world of fundraising and entrepreneurial in your approach to this role – driving fundraising opportunities and maximising donation opportunities.

Reporting to Head of Community Fundraising and Events, as Deputy Head of Community Fundraising and Events, your key responsibility will be focussed upon the effective development and production of enticing events that inspire a call to action within their attendees. Some of your other responsibilities will include:

  • Development of fruitful corporate partnerships – nurturing pre-existing ones and recognising opportunities to develop new ones;
  • Effective management of not only your direct reports, but also your wider team – enabling them to flourish whilst also motivating them to maintain exceptional performance rates;

For this role, our client has requested that you will have a degree or equivalent in marketing (for example, Chartered Institute of Marketing Diploma). You will also need to be an outstanding communicator & organiser on all levels to flourish in this fast-paced, target-driven role.

Due to the location of their offices this role would be commutable for candidates travelling from Cambridge, Peterborough, Huntingdon, Kings Lynn, Corby, Sleaford, Stamford, Leicester, Northampton, St Ives and St Neots.
