Digital Marketing Assistant, St Ives - 

Our client is looking for a Digital Marketing Assistant to operate and maintain the company website as well as evaluating the consumers website experience.  Working for one of the world’s leading sporting apparel brands, the post holder will be tasked with instigating the company’s sales initiatives as well as all digital media communications for marketing.

With a background in either e-commerce, SEO and/or PPC the right candidate will need a form of digital marketing experience to maximise the efficiency of this role. Ideally a graduate in a field of marketing, the post holder will have to report directly to the eCommerce Manager to deal with a vast array of tasks that the job brings. Some of these tasks will include but are not limited to…

  • Assisting with all aspects of company’s SEO, SEM and SEA to maximise customer engagement.
  • Assessment of the consumer database and increasing the sales prospective from email activity.
  • Analysing and maximising the performance of any and all digital marketing campaigns
  • Keenly identifying and examining organic as well as paid social media campaigns, which fundamentally increases the brands exposure.
  • Producing content specifically for marketing campaigns, with email and paid social
  • Keeping dialogue with external agencies and third-party venders

Personality wise, the company are looking for a confident, assertive individual to aid in the contribution of the customer e-Commerce experience focusing primarily on digital engagement. They must be highly organised with a keen eye for noticing consumer shopping behaviour and increasing social media influence in the industry.

This is an excellent opportunity for an innovative Digital Marketing Assistant to join an experienced, ever growing marketing team. The successful applicant will have an inventive personality with an array of digital marketing experience. Preferably coming from a consumer-based background, the post-holder will support, guide and spearhead online marketing campaigns. Other experience which would be desirable would be a history of working within e-Commerce marketing roles and have a strong educational background in Maths and/or English. The post-holder will also have to be confident enough to deal with colleagues in all departments of the business.

The company really care about their employees, with relevant training and courses provided to get the post-holder ‘up to speed’ as soon as possible. Due to the location of the business, the offices are easily commutable from the following locations Cambridge, St Neots, Cambourne, Huntingdon, Ely, Chatteris, Biggleswade, March and Sandy.
