Digital Website Owner – Reporting and Insight, Cambridge -
An award-winning organisation operating globally are seeking a Digital Website Owner to lead on performance monitoring and measurement. This organisation has a vision to ensure that every time someone engages with them through digital spaces, their relationship with them gets stronger. That means delivering great customer experience through the most effective use of digital channels and content for all of their audiences.
Working within the digital communications team, this role will play a key part in taking the performance of the corporate website to the next level by evaluating, testing and iterating in the pursuit of continuous improvement and customer centricity. The website must serve as a tool which is measurable in line with campaign objectives and wider organisational aims. As such, the role holder will work with stakeholders to accurately and comprehensively track website engagement focusing on the metrics that matter.
You’ll need to have a passion for digital measurement and attribution. You should know Google Analytics inside out; be a guru with Google Tag Manager; know your tracking pixels from your tracking links and be able to interpret data from these (and other) sources to colleagues – using tools like Google Data Studio and others.
- Experience of executing A/B tests in line with best practices and optimising websites for conversions/key actions.
- Experience with website personalisation tools and creating visitor groups/profiles.
- Strong Excel skills and an ability to translate data sets into clear and actionable reports.
- Experience with a number of content management systems (experience with Episerver or a similar enterprise level CMS would be an advantage).
- Working knowledge of HTML and CSS.
