Are you an expert digitally-skilled Marketing Manager who’s looking for a short-term challenge? Do you have the skills to hit the ground running and take the department’s digital activity by the horns? Do you have a solid B2B background, ideally in technology or engineering, and want to apply your passion in your day-to-day role? Then this could be the opportunity for you.
A leading and respected technology company on the outskirts of Cambridge are looking for a skilled and able digitally-focused Marketing Manager to join their team on an interim, month-by-month basis. You’ll need to hit the ground running with this as this is an urgent requirement, ideally to start this side of Christmas but this is not essential. The website for this business is vital so you’ll be an expert at website updates and building engagement, ensuring everything is running perfectly. You’ll have a solid understanding of B2B Digital Marketing Management, and – due to the complex subject matter dealt with daily – ideally come from a technical background, having a key interest in technology, engineering or manufacturing.
You’ll have managed a team before and be able to run the department, so a strong decision maker is vital here. In-depth development/programming skills aren’t essential here, but you’ll need to understand SEO, PPC and HTML due to this being a very hands-on and involved position in a very small-but-efficient team.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a keen Digital Marketing Manager to make a big impression on an influential business, taking their mix of technical passion and digital marketing to really make a difference in this interim position. It is easily-commutable from Cambridge, Saffron Walden, Letchworth, Hitchin, Welwyn Garden City, Hatfield, Bishops Stortford, Harlow, St Albans, Newmarket, Ely, Huntingdon, St Neots and Bedford.
