Our award-winning client is looking for a passionate and driven Marketing Communications Coordinator to join their busy and growing team. Educated to degree level in a relevant subject, you’ll need proven, hands-on experience working within PR and Communications in a consumer facing or retail environment. With a strong knowledge of and passion for social media and digital platforms, you will use existing and emerging social media platforms to promote the brand and identify key influencers to partner with. You’ll need demonstrable experience planning and organising large-scale events and conferences, including budget management, logistics and coordination. Above all, we’re looking for a proactive Marketing Communications Coordinator with a positive attitude and the drive to succeed within this fast-paced business.
As Marketing Communications Coordinator, you will support in the development of PR & Communications strategies for the brand and will be responsible for the implementation and delivery of PR campaigns; including building relationships with key journalists and industry contacts, securing favourable press coverage for the brand, increasing brand awareness, creating supporting digital and social media campaigns and producing compelling content for use across a number of platforms. An excellent communicator, both written and verbally, this will play a large part of your role; you’ll be liaising with journalists and influencers on a daily basis, building a rapport with them to secure positive press coverage across both print and digital media and writing engaging copy for use on social media posts and crafting press releases and advertorials. You’ll manage brand events from start to finish, working with your team to develop a strategy for the event and will have full autonomy in the management and execution of the event. This role would suit a highly organised individual with exceptional project management skills, who is not afraid of a challenge!
