Marketing & Events Officer - 9 - 12 month contract - fixed term, Cambridge -

Are you an experienced marketing & events professional looking for a new challenge, in a super dynamic environment, joining a fast growing, global company based in Cambridge?

An excellent opportunity has become available for an experienced events professional to join this internationally renowned tech firm on a maternity contract basis. Ideally with experience gained in a B2B industry you will take responsibility for all corporate events which range from external conferences, industry workshops, tradeshows, hosting visiting groups through to international exhibitions and conferences. You will have excellent project management skills as well as creative flair and ability to liaise across all levels.

As Events and Marketing Officer you will manage and deliver a range of high-quality events to positively promote the organisation to key markets. Coupled with your organisation and project management skills you will manage all event activity including preparing plans, budgets and managing strategic aspects. Working with the marketing team you will get involved in all areas of design, branding, PR and web to support the events.

You can commute easily from Peterborough, Huntingdon, Newmarket, Ely, St Neots, Bedford, Royston, Hitchin, and – thanks to convenient train links – areas of London, too.
