Sector Marketing Manager, Cambridge -
We are working with arguably one of the most highly-regarded organisations on the Cambridge tech circuit, on a critical role for one of their most prestigious business areas.
You will be rewarded with a culture that is second to none, with the commitment from colleagues throughout the company being evident, so we need someone who is an ambitious and creative visionary but who is also highly sympathetic and patient with multiple departments, and can objectively translate the business’s aims into a viable and successful marketing strategy, having a clear strategy – and method – of being able to convert the “what” and the “why” into the “how”.
We need those coming from a senior marketing position for this role, having previously managed strategies and communicated them to senior management. The B2B, technical background – and a keen interest and affinity with technology – really is highly desirable, due to the nature of work that goes on here.
Experience dealing with multiple stakeholders of varying seniority is helpful here, with proven success generated from your previous work. This is a hands-on role, too, so whilst the strategic elements are essential, so is the ability to implement it. You will have the support of colleagues and the wider marketing team, but you will not be afraid to get your hands dirty. The company has grown significantly, but what retains their outstanding culture and environment is the cooperation and dedication of every single employee here, with diversity and creativity featuring daily in your working life!
The company in question, is undergoing a period of notable growth and subsequent brand elevation, so the ability to create cross-functional synergy whilst you formulate a bulletproof marketing strategy is key. Furthermore, a thirst for knowledge and innovation – and a background in software and technology – will ensure your success in this role, in what is a highly co-operative and collaborative environment.
The location is outstanding, and the benefits package offered – and salary – is highly competitive. Furthermore, you will easily be able to reach their beautiful offices from all areas of Cambridgeshire, including Cambridge itself, Ely, St Neots, Peterborough and Huntingdon, as well as Northampton, Newmarket, Norwich and Royston.
For registration purposes please could you let us know where you are currently based or which locations you are considering as well as your required salary and notice period.
Please upload a Microsoft Word version of your CV where possible, excluding textboxes or images, as this can affect the consultant's job matching process and therefore your details may not be picked up for a role.
