We’re working exclusively with a small manufacturer on the outskirts of Cambridge that have seen unprecedented and continuous growth, and this brand-new role supports the Sales and Marketing Director in taking the business further still. With a fantastic collaborative culture, this business really does place its people first, offering real progression in this truly-unique opportunity.
You’ll have proven experience in commercial marketing and driving to consistently improve ROI, focusing on networking and driving leads. You’ll need to be great at meeting new people and building relationships, as this is a people-led business, meaning that you’ll be meeting with trade partners and agencies as well as gaining prospective clients at trade shows, so people skills are an essential part of this role. You’ll be an outstanding communicator, both face-to-face and written, with the ability to speak a foreign language being a BIG bonus due to the global reach of this firm. You’ll work closely with a lot of agencies but also be involved in contributing to online content, collateral wording and online review feedback.
You’ll need to be good with not just words but numbers too, analysing pricing, sales data and competitors’ performance, and will need to have an analytical mind to interpret and act on the data. You’ll have had experience in lead-generation and ideally have had sales experience as well as marketing experience.
