An industry leading, established brand is looking for an experienced Online Merchandising Executive to join their growing team in Cambridgeshire. You will need to have at least 2-3 years’ proven experience in merchandising and marketing an ecommerce site and will be aware of all the latest trends in ecommerce to keep this company ahead of the game. Being commercially aware, you will be confident analysing and interpreting data to transfer into accurate stock forecasting. You will be experienced in evaluating the sales performance of all product lines and managing stock levels to ensure the most popular lines are always available to customers. To be considered for this role, you need to be passionate about ecommerce and online shopping, and will be able to put the customer at the forefront of all commercial decisions.
As Online Merchandising Executive, you will be responsible for managing the company’s sizeable product portfolio, ensuring all products are displayed accurately and attractively to consumers at all times- whilst managing the full product lifecycle of each item. You will be responsible for launching all new products to the ecommerce site, tracking the progress of items and planning the sales and phase-outs of older stock. You will have the natural ability to analyse data, including; trade performance, highlighting any trends and opportunities within product categories to keep this successful business ahead of the competition. Experience in managing product stock levels, inventories and a knowledge of ecommerce operations is essential, as this role is heavily focused on forecasting and managing product availability to consumers. You will be responsible for ensuring all new products are launched to the website on time and that all product are merchandised effectively to drive sales.
