Paid Social Manager, Cambridge -

The Paid Social Manager role will manage P&L, strategy and business goals for client activity across a number of accounts. The accounts in questions will be really high profile, and many of them will be retail based. The ability to work at base level with Account Executives, whilst ‘getting your hands dirty’ is really preferable, as the role holder will be client facing and exposure to the workings and ‘nuts and bolts’ of the accounts is really integral.
Core elements to this position will be:
- Drive forward the paid social strategies
- Development of the client digital channels through paid social and search
- Technical liaison with the internal team to maximise the output for their clients
- Management of the P&L, and development of the company methods of achieving success
- Maximise the ROI on each and every account for the business
- Preparation and delivery of client updates and evaluations
The company is ideally searching for someone with a minimum of three years’ experience of working on paid social, and ideally from within the retail or agency world. They may also consider candidates coming from some form of ‘transactional’ industry, so may consider people coming from leisure, ecommerce or indeed the media. Basically, if you’ve got experience within websites with a buying element, and you’ve worked within paid social, we’re keen to hear from you!
The role reports directly into the head of the agency and because of this the chosen candidate must have a good level of commercial awareness, ability to liaise at all levels both internally and with clients, and lots of gravitas.
This is a great role for someone who really enjoys digital marketing and paid social in an agency setting. Due to the location of this role it is commutable from Cambridge, Newmarket, Bedford, Ely, Peterborough, Huntingdon, St. Ives and Saffron Walden.
