The Company – Press Officer

This is a fantastic opportunity for an accomplished press and media professional to join an admirable and successful charity based in Cambridgeshire. You will be building and nurturing vital relationships with stakeholders and delivering highly successful communication and media strategies.

The Role – Press Officer  

The main responsibilities of this role include:

  • Compelling content for a range of communication channels, such as press activity (regional, national and international) social media and digital channels
  • Deliver highly articulate press releases for an extensive target audience
  • Building and nurturing vital relationships with stakeholders
  • Be responsible for enhancing the reputation and increase awareness of the company

The Requirements – Press Officer

To be considered for this role you will need:

  • Ideally Degree educated
  • A minimum of two years’ experience in journalism/ public relations
  • Experience in press release creation, social media, website content, events and crisis management are preferred
  • demonstrable ability to work both independently and collaboratively, with a high attention to detail and time management
