Sales and Marketing Administrator – maternity cover, Cambridge -
We’re working with a small Cambridge based organisation seeking a sales and marketing administrator for a maternity cover period starting as soon as possible. The role is an administrative and office support role, covering a range of duties both for the sales team and the marketing manager. As this is an administrative position, candidates do not have to have any marketing experience, but the position could suit a graduate in marketing or business looking for a first role to give them some experience working in a business environment and involved with marketing.
On a day to day basis the position will be responsible for maintaining and updating the company databases, registering new customers, supporting with documentation for sales visits, assisting in exhibition organisation, monitoring and ordering marketing collateral and training materials, booking hotels and lunches, taking orders and payments, and general office duties such as answering the main phone line.
Due to this role having a number of phone and customer duties, as well as support for senior stakeholders, candidates must be confident at working on the phone and in person. Due to their location this position is suitable for candidates living in Cambridge, Ely, Cottenham, Newmarket, Haverhill, Huntingdon, St Ives, Bury St Edmunds, Sawston and Thetford.
