An exciting opportunity has arisen to join a leading Cambridgeshire business on an interim basis as their Assistant Brand Manager. Our award-winning client is looking for a driven, analytical and progressive individual to join their team, with 1-2 years’ category management or brand management experience in a consumer organisation already under their belt. You’ll need to be confident analysing data, insights and trends and translating these into actionable category and brand strategies for the business. Although this is initially going to be a 12 month maternity cover contract, it is highly likely this will become a permanent position once the contract has ended.
As Assistant Brand Manager, you will be analysing key market, product, category and sales data to identify any strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats for the business, and compiling these into monthly reports for colleagues to help strengthen the business proposition and sales. Your work will help to shape and impact category and brand strategies and help to develop exciting and innovative new products that fill a need within the market, to ensure this brand stays ahead of its competition. You’ll need a naturally inquisitive mind, keen to discover what drives the consumer and makes them purchase a particular brand or product, to influence them to buy into our client’s brand. You will be expected to present your findings to key stakeholders on a regular basis, through detailed written reports and contributing to departmental presentations.
