The Role – Digital Marketing Manager
This role is to work within a new marketing team which is joining a wider team of 20 marketers - you will be reporting to the Head of Digital Marketing, and will own the marketing strategy, generate ideas to support goals, manage paid socials, as well as managing 2 direct reports (Digital Marketing Executive and Digital Marketing Administrator).
Day to day, you could be…
- Managing all activity across social media, content, and email marketing.
- Creating the digital strategy and delegating this to your team to implement.
- Managing paid socials as well as generating targeted campaigns across social media and email marketing.
- Creating reports to give insightful results to drive KPIs and improve ROI.
- Dealing with external agencies to create assets such as videos, graphics, and photography.
- Managing and mentoring junior members of the team.
You – Digital Marketing Manager
You will need…
To be successful you must be experienced with developing and managing marketing strategies, confident with analytics and reports, have the ability to manage and motivate a small team (2 direct reports) as well as dealing with external agencies. You will also be expected to work closely with the Head of Digital Marketing and be able to generate new ideas for the business.
- To be confident in developing marketing strategies.
- Previous experience with paid socials, social media, and content creation.
- To be analytically minded and have strong problem-solving skills.
- Excellent attention to detail, organisational skills, and the ability to work to deadlines.
- Previous experience of managing/ mentoring colleagues.

This role does offer some flexible working and due to the location of their Colchester office, this role is commutable from Manningtree, Sudbury, Braintree, Wivenhoe, Coggeshall, Halstead, Hadleigh and Brightlingsea.
