Campaign Marketing Manager, Cheshunt -
Our client is a leader in the B2B services industry, handling everything from construction to utilities, ultimately providing incredible peace of mind to their clients that span nationwide. Their culture is wonderful; everyone works very hard, but everyone really gets on with each other and truly enjoys their job. They are not a corporate technology giant, but they have significant presence in their field and genuinely value their employees, with just an incredible friendly atmosphere and real progression and development opportunity as they continue to grow.
To succeed in this job, you will ultimately be a down-to-earth campaigns expert who can hold their own in a tense and complex situation with clients, so we’re not looking for a shrinking violet here. You will travel nationally, sometimes weekly – an expensed company car is provided – so please make sure you are happy with this before applying.
In terms of what you’ll need; you’ll ideally have experience in a service-led environment or consultancy, or will have a solid background in B2B arenas such as construction, engineering or manufacturing, due to the industries that you’re dealing with here. You will be flexible and proactive in your approach, and be comfortable working to KPIs, interpreting data and reporting – and acting on – your findings. You’ll also get a thrill collaborating with other departments to drive sales, and you’ll have a keen knowledge of strategising campaigns via social media, the CRM system and email marketing, enjoying creating and sharing new ideas.
The majority of this role will involve finding opportunities with existing clients, as opposed to fresh lead generation, and creating and implementing tailored campaigns to gain more business and drive ROI. This is much more strategic and complex, as you will not only need to understand your customers’ markets, but will know what problems they face to be able to conceptualise ideas and – ultimately – translate their problems into solutions that your company can offer via your campaigns; it is all about finding commercial opportunities, really, and telling them how you can help them. The daily life is very fast-paced, so adaptability and keeping a cool head is vital, being able to act fast when an urgent problem arises. You will travel weekly, sometimes within a couple of hours but sometimes nationally, so flexibility to do this will be vital, as an overnight stay will sometimes be required.
It’s certainly a role with a difference, however, if you love campaigns, thrive off of variety and prefer a down-to-earth culture with an industry leader, then this really could be for you. It is very well connected, transport wise, being moments from a train station, so would suit those coming from as far as London, as well as Cambridge, Bishops Stortford, Welwyn Garden City, Luton, Hemel Hempstead, Chelmsford, Brentwood, Enfield, Stevenage, and most areas of Hertfordshire and even South Cambridgeshire.
For registration purposes please could you let us know where you are currently based or which locations you are considering as well as your required salary and notice period.
Please upload a Microsoft Word version of your CV where possible, excluding textboxes or images, as this can affect the consultant's job matching process and therefore your details may not be picked up for a role.
