The Company - Communications Assistant
Do you have a passion for writing? Do you consider yourself a people person, keen to learn stories and produce engaging and informative content? Well, an exciting position has arisen with a nationally leading B2B services organisation based in Stevenage!
Joining their marcomms team of circa 10, they’re looking for a creative and confident Communications Assistant to join their growing team and be responsible for the external comms and content across their key 15+ brands.
The Role - Communications Assistant
Reporting into the Communications Manager, you’ll be responsible for (and not limited to):
- Implementing marcomms strategies by creating content for publications, press releases, digital marketing channels, newsletters, blogs, proposals and wider materials.
- Working across the group’s multiple brands to create copy and PR pieces and maintain their content pipeline for all online and offline channels.
- Supporting on social media content calendars, and internal communications channels.
- Supporting on relationships with the media and journalists, helping to grow their already strong network of contacts.
Requirements - Communications Assistant
Your reach will span across all key business areas, so you must be a fantastic verbal and written communicator, who’s not afraid to proofread and pick apart content pieces to ensure no mistakes! You’ll have a keen eye for detail, and a curious mindset.
So, if you have at least 2 years’ experience in a similar role with extensive writing and content from a marketing, PR or communications background, this fantastic position will be a great match for you!
Location
Due to the location of the offices, and some occasional travel being necessary, applicants must be able to drive and have their own transport. There is flexible working available of 1-2 days per week remote.
The role is commutable from areas such as: Hitchin, Stevenage, Welwyn Garden City, Luton, Letchworth Garden City, Baldock, Hatfield, St Albans, and Hertford.
