Our client is a high-profile, market leading consumer company. They are looking to source their next Channel Marketing Manager to join their team and support one of their core product verticals. This is a company that you’ll be no doubt be familiar with, at some point having bought or used one of their products, probably on daily basis. The exciting opportunity requires someone with thorough experience in managing strategies and budgets for both offline and online marketing, driving performance of product sales. The successful candidate will ideally come from a consumer background with 2 years’ experience in retail centric roles. You will need to be versatile, capable of working at pace, both in a team and independently.
This role as Channel Marketing Manager is for an 8-month fixed term contract, but as with any contract, has the potential to go permanent subject to future business requirements. As part of the wider marketing team, you will be responsible for maximising sales return and ROI for one of the company’s core product lines through online and offline retail channels, direct and partner. You will create and implement a high-level strategy, including campaign calendar, that utilises engaging point of sale (traditional and online) and tailored collateral to boost your designated product’s sales. Working with the internal team and external agencies you will need to be a strong communicator, supporting you to deliver at all levels. Underpinning your strategy, you will be assigned a strict budget to adhere to, so a confident head for numbers is essential.
