Senior Marketing Executive/Manager, Cheshunt –
We are looking for a competent marketer at either executive or management level, and ideally with property/construction industry experience, to initially work on a 12 month contract covering a period of maternity leave. With this in mind, we are ideally looking for applicants who are available on a maximum of 1 months’ notice, preferably less. There is a strong possibility that this will turn into a permanent role.
It is an urgent requirement for a commercially minded, strategic, yet tactical, marketing generalist to join the marketing function of a highly respected business based in the Cheshunt area. With responsibility for maintaining the integrity and image of the company brand, the Marketing Executive/Manager will be required to produce, implement and manage marketing campaigns and marketing material to ensure that sufficient enquiries are created in order to hit company sales targets.
This is a fast paced and diverse role requiring a broad range of skills across several key areas.
You will be required to prepare a marketing strategy for each individual project, work closely with relevant external agencies to provide marketing material that will cover every element of the marketing mix, work with the in-house digital team in order to prepare relevant digital activity for each project, liaise with media buying agency to ensure all media opportunities explored, as well as brief advertising campaigns to relevant external agencies.
You will be providing a flow of information for the creative agency to use when putting together brand identity, marketing campaigns and marketing material, including brochures and models. You will need to ensure that all marketing campaigns are consistent and promoted through all elements of the marketing mix, including press advertising, digital marketing activity including websites and email campaigns, graphics, mail outs and on-site events.
This role requires extensive project management and stakeholder management. As well as building key relationships within your immediate marketing team and external agencies, you will also be communicating regularly with other key stakeholders within the wider business in order to ensure that projects are managed properly and run smoothly.
To be considered you will need to have an extensive marketing background, ideally in the property sector. As a minimum you will need to have worked within a fast paced, matrix structured environment where you have managed multiple projects and stakeholders simultaneously. The ability to follow a marketing strategy is important and you will need to be happy rolling your sleeves up and getting stuck into the day to day. Budgetary awareness, attention to detail, stakeholder management skills and excellent communication skills are also required.
This role could either suit someone already at management level who is looking for a hands-on role that also comes with a strategic focus, or a senior marketing executive keen who has aspirations to move into a management role in the future.
Note that a full driving licence is required for this role as you will be spending circa 50% of your time working at different sites within the region. With this in mind you will need to be someone with a flexible approach who is happy to jump in the car at relatively short notice.
