A newly created opportunity for a Head of Marketing planning to join a highly regarded organisation operating within the third sector. This is a very commercial operation requiring a driven individual who can create and execute all marketing activity across all online and offline channels in order to engage effectively with what is a large and esteemed membership base spanning the entire UK food and grocery sector.
Reporting into Director level and managing three Marketing Managers plus additional reports below, the key duties of the role will primarily include having full ownership and management of the both the short and long term marketing plan; planning and executing all marketing activity across all channels, including large scale events; driving lead generation activity; managing internal stakeholders and working closely with other relevant teams, particularly CRM; put appropriate steps in place in order to maximise customer retention; work with a wide range of external networks in order to drive partnership marketing strategy; make it priority to gain an in-depth understanding of what the organisation stands for, its customers and their challenges, as well as the range of products on services that they offer.
The ideal candidate will ideally come from a food/grocery background but will also need to have extensive B2B and/or retail experience as well as being able to evidence success when driving large scale marketing campaigns.
The role requires a commercially minded individual with excellent people management and presentation skills, a pro-active, passionate and driven approach, and a proven collaborator who is able to manage and influence multiple internal stakeholders at all levels.
