In addition to having a proven track record successfully driving optimisation, conversion and growth through SEO, you will be an innovative and driven individual, constantly searching for new and exciting ways to drive the natural search strategy for the business, to ensure they stay one step ahead of the competition. With at least 4-5 years’ experience managing SEO strategies for a consumer business, you will be the go-to person in your organisation for all things SEO. You will have a strong commercial awareness, understanding how to drive sales and growth through search rankings, liaising with other internal departments to drive the overall digital marketing strategy and keeping the customer at the heart of all strategic decisions.
As SEO Manager, you will be responsible for developing, implementing and managing the SEO strategy for a hugely successful business with a strong presence online. You will be responsible for all areas of SEO, from devising and creating an innovative and successful SEO strategy, to managing the day to day activity across the website, to evaluating and analysing the performance of SEO strategies, making recommendations and improvements where necessary. This role will see you as the driving force for natural search in the business, and you will be responsible for ensuring that websites across the business rank consistently highly in key search terms. A confident writer, you’ll be able to create compelling copy for the website that is fully optimised, as well as having the ability to oversee link building and monitoring conversion rate optimisation. You will also be responsible for the line management of one direct report, who will support you with the implementation of all SEO activity.
