Marketing Lead, Bury St Edmunds - 

Working in partnership with a global technology business, Brand have been commissioned to search for a Marketing Lead who can develop and execute the global marketing plan for a number of established brands, within the B2B and B2C space.

The client:

The client in question is at the forefront of technology, working within the consumer electronics space, broadly speaking. They are an established global organisation, with just shy of two thousand employees, and countless awards for the both the products and services they provide. They operate on almost every continent and have a ‘cult following’ for their products and brands, of which, they have many.

With a corporate feel, they’re a business driven by creative ideas and innovation at every turn.

The role:

This particular role constitutes a brand-new position within a sizeable marketing function and requires a broad range of B2B and B2C experience at a senior level. Ideally, you will have worked for a medium to large sized manufacturing/technology on a strategic marketing planning basis already. The role will need an awareness of channel partner relations, and a proven history of products being sold through distributors if possible. Any experience working for a business owning multiple brands would be highly advantageous, as would any experience of working with the wider departments on campaign initiatives on a commercial and measurable marketing basis.

In short, we’re looking for someone who can think strategically but is also happy to roll up their sleeves and get the work done across the established team. The business is one of ‘ideas sharing’ and have openly said they’d see this role suiting someone both creative and objective when it comes to strategic planning.

You will work closely with colleagues in sales and product marketing across the world, so you’ll need to be comfortable working with remote teams and be happy to travel internationally when required, Covid restrictions allowing. Reporting to the VP Marketing, this is a high-profile role of considerable ‘weight’ within their global marketing function.
6+ years of marketing management necessary

  • Proven record of supporting business performance adding value through creating effective marketing strategies
  • B2B channel and B2C end user marketing experience preferred
  • Experience in building brand awareness and recognition
