A fantastic position has arisen for a Sales and Marketing Executive to join the marketing and sales teams of a highly renowned software and technology consultancy organisation, based in Oxford. They are looking for someone with excellent communication skills coming from a marketing or sales background (though ideally both), to take up this new role for the business.
This position focuses on generating and nurturing leads alongside the marketing team, qualifying leads to be passed to the sales team, and maintaining the CRM database. There will be elements of sending initial mailers to leads and following them up over the phone, so the role would suit someone comfortable with this and with good verbal communication skills. The position overall is about 50-70% on the sales side as described. On the marketing side, you’ll also assist on creating and measuring campaigns, and write content for the company’s digital channels.
In order to be considered for this position, you will have at least 2 years’ experience in a similar hybrid sales and marketing role, ideally from a B2B background, as the company in question are quite technical. Previous experience with marketing campaigns and lead generation or lead qualifying is essential.
Due to the location of the offices, this position is commutable from areas such as Oxford, Bicester, Aylesbury, Thame, High Wycombe, Abingdon, Didcot, Kidlington, Whitney, Wantage, and the wider Oxfordshire area.
