A growing, entrepreneurial organisation in central Cambridge is currently looking for a creative and self-motivated marketing communications professional to join their team on a permanent basis. The ideal candidate will have experience in multi-channel marketing and communications and the passion to help them become an internationally recognised organisation. You will need to have a strong background in developing media strategies, providing media guidance, identifying news stories and drafting press releases typically involving scientific and financial information.
The key responsibilities of the Head of Marketing and Communications Manager will include: marketing strategy creation and implementation, team management, developing and delivering multi-channel campaigns; developing the brand; maintaining the website; managing the online channels including email and social media; producing written copy; assisting with the events and networking with stakeholders and key contacts.
It is essential you have experience in the following criteria:
- Experience within marketing in a senior leadership role
- Writing and implementing a marketing strategy
- Leading a full range of marketing channels, including brand strategy, social media and communications
- Ability in managing and motivating a multidisciplinary team
- Developing and running marketing campaigns within an integrated CRM system
