Description

Are you looking for a step into a globally recognised leader within pharmaceuticals and healthcare products? Are you looking for a company who are renowned for their fantastic staff retention and industry leading benefits?

If this sounds like you… please read on…

This extremely successful and established pharmaceutical organisation is seeking an experienced and knowledgeable healthcare communications professional to join their European communications team.

Candidates will ideally come from a pharmaceutical or healthcare background... but at a push, they may also consider candidates coming from another highly regulated industry… Any experience of managing communications in line with the ABPI code would be of real benefit!

Key aspects to this impressive role will be developing European communication initiatives, and strategies, from the ground up for one of two specific area of the business. You’ll be a central hub for all things comms, both internal and external and will manage the messaging for all stakeholders for your region.

Along with the development of the strategy you’ll be heavily involved in the ‘nuts’ and bolts’ of the comms function, media liaison, press release writing and generation of communications content. Because of the size and scope of the role it’s expected that you will have managed agencies previously before and also have a background of attending industry specific events. Your franchise area of the business will be your ‘baby’ when it comes to comms campaigns, ideally you will have managed some comms projects of a similar nature before or at very least will have worked as part of a smaller unit within a wider comms function.

Internal comms will also be covered by whoever takes up this position, and whilst internal comms experience isn’t essential, an awareness of how communications techniques are varied within healthcare and regulated environments would be a distinct advantage!

On the whole, this position represents a fantastic step for a healthcare communications professional to join a driven team of industry leaders within this brand new franchise communications role. In return for being a 'healthcare industry communications all-star’ you’ll get an excellent salary bracket and some amazing benefits…

This is a fantastic role for an already proven communications professional to apply their skills and creative flair to provide high quality results for an already established pharmaceutical brand name. This position is commutable from Royston, Biggleswade, Newmarket, Bury St. Edmunds, Huntingdon, Cambridge, St. Ives, Ely, Saffron Walden and Bishop’s Stortford.

For registration purposes please could you let us know where you are currently based or which locations you are considering as well as your required salary and notice period.
