Our client is a global organisation that produce market leading products, well-known for advances in usability. They are currently looking to recruit a Senior Product Manager to drive the development of its products through the entire life cycle, creating ideas, concept development and product design. You will have experience in product development for consumer goods and have been involved with a product’s life cycle from beginning to end and everything in-between.
As product manager you will be responsible for the strategic development of the product with a focus on user needs and analysis of the market and trends. This will encompass product concept and design, pricing strategy and positioning, launch, including timing and promotion of the product to all relevant markets. Working in a high performing culture during the entire lifecycle of the product, you will need to be an operational marketer with an understanding of technical topics.
There will be several key stakeholders to work closely with over the relatively long duration of the project, all of whom have some degree of influence over the success of the product. You will need to coordinate and manage projects across Development, Engineering, Quality, Manufacturing and Finance, brief the Brand team to execute the communications, liaise with Sales Managers’ within the relevant countries to ensure the correct approach is being adopted. The ability to engage with and influence other internal stakeholders is fundamental to the success of this role.
