The Company - Graphic Designer
A business subsidiary of Cambridge University is looking for an experienced Graphic Designer to join the team as soon as possible on a permanent basis. The organisation is award-winning, highly renowned locally and internationally, and continues to grow in scope.
They need someone with experience in shooting and editing videos alongside broader design skills, so please only apply if you have these proficiencies.
The position will be once a week in the Cambridges offices as a minimum, though you are of course welcome to attend more should you wish.
The Role - Graphic Designer
Reporting into the Marketing Director and joining their dynamic team of 6, you’ll be responsible for:
- Assisting with the development and manage the delivery of the creative strategy.
- Designing a range of digital and printed assets includes presentations, newsletters, emails, display banners, social media imagery and photography, website materials, and brochures.
- Shooting and editing both short and long form videos.
- Being the brand guardian to ensure all assets and messaging adhere to brand guidelines.
- Liaising with external agencies where necessary, providing briefs and ensuring projects are completed to deadlines.
Requirements - Graphic Designer
- Proficient in Adobe Photoshop, InDesign and Illustrator, able to shoot and edit video using their in-house equipment, and programs such as After Effects, Premiere Pro or similar.
- Be an excellent communicator able to juggle multiple projects at once, and brief agencies where necessary.
- Experience of managing creative brand frameworks, bringing ideas and energy into the function.
- Ideally have a graphic design degree or relevant qualification.
Location - Graphic Designer
With office attendance being required once a week as a minimum, suitable commutable locations include: Cambridge, Milton, Waterbeach, Newmarket, Girton, Witchford, Ely, Bar Hill, St Ives, Huntingdon, St Neots, Burwell, Soham, Duxford, Royston, and surrounding areas of Cambridgeshire, north Essex or East Bedfordshire.
