An opportunity for a Social Media Executive has become available working with one of the most experienced and successful independent agencies of its kind in the UK.

It is an exciting time to join this company, and the Social Media Executive will be handling content for some of their most prestigious clients.

Applicants must have b2c focused agency experience, ideally in either the retail, leisure or hotel sectors (but open on industry as long as the skillset is there).

Key Responsibilities

  • Content creation, regular brainstorming of new creative ideas and development of monthly content plans for multiple client social media channels
  • Writing and proofreading social media content
  • Reporting - using social media analytics, assist the social media manager to build reports that summarise performance of channels based on KPI’s, with added value insights to improve results and further engage with target audiences
  • Paid social - setting up and monitoring paid campaigns to target defined audiences with set objectives and placing ads on relevant social media pages, working alongside Head of Social to make sure that paid social content is optimised for best performance. *Additional training can be provided
  • Monitor trends, social conversations, platforms, and technologies to identify potential reactive content opportunities
  • Account Management - communicate with clients daily, establish successful working relationships with clients and team members, working with account management team to manage client expectations, understand client business goals, and current marketing plans
  • Community management

 

Experience/Requirements

  • At least 1-2 years' experience in social media marketing
  • A team player and experience in managing projects within a team
  • Experience in community management
  • Ability to write, edit and create content, with excellent attention to detail and an eye for proofreading
  • Digitally savvy with an understanding of key social media and digital channels, with an awareness of trends

This is an excellent opportunity for a talented social media expert to work at a successful agency with a unique positioning. Due to their Hertfordshire based office, this position may be of interest to candidates commuting from Hatfield, Welwyn Garden City, St Albans, Hemel Hempstead, Harpenden, Berkhamsted, Tring, Dunstable, Leighton Buzzard, Luton, Stevenage and most parts of Hertfordshire.
