The Role – Marketing Manager
Joining a skilled communications team and reporting directly into the Head of Marketing, this newly created role will see you take ownership of the development and implementation of direct and digital marketing strategies. Managing a team of three, you will create inspiring and innovative campaigns to help grow their individual giving community, achieve ambitious long-term goals and help transform lives. Working both strategically and tactically you will collaborate with the wider comms and fundraising teams to produce collateral to motivate and incite change.
The ideal candidate will have a ‘test and learn’ approach, continuously improving the overall supporter experience and fundraising proposition to optimise both acquisition and retention. You will lead on the effective implementation of the direct and digital marketing programme, ensuring all collateral is of the highest standard and consistent with the overall strategy. Your day-to-day duties will include budget, people and agency management. Supporting the development of three direct reports through continued training to ensure they are able to meet both targets and briefs.

Key requirements – Marketing Manager
- A minimum of three years’ experience in a senior marketing role and a proven track record in developing effective and multi-channel marketing strategies.
- A strong background in charity/non-profit marketing, specifically across direct, digital and fundraising channels
- At least 1 years’ experience in direct team management, training and development
- Previous experience in planning and managing large marketing budgets, ensuring campaigns are delivered within the budget parameters.
- External agency recruitment and management
- Good knowledge and experience with customer segmentation and managing a large database, preferable salesforce.
